Okay for starters, the DDoS is happening on the AXGN Network, not the Reinforce Network.
Please read properly before you panic.

Secondly, i believe this server is *hopefully* able to handle more then 600 user accesses in a millisecond. Otherwise why would people have quad xeon servers?

My apologies for the sudden surge in downtime recently on the server, and the website.
According to gottaname, we are being attacked by a massive DDOS targeted at acro’s parent network, AXGN, which we are hosted on.

Gottaname has given me a downtime minimum window of 48 hours of which we will be moving to starhub’s anti DDOS network, or so he said. Please expect sudden outrages in the next 48 hours and i hope we can get back to normal ASAP.

Will try to keep everyone updated to the best of my knowledge.

I’m gonna go curl up in my bed and stare at my phone which refuses to start up for some unknown reason so i’m still charging it, and go think about life.

Our last and only SG based server, Crys-2 has just been hit by a lightning strike, losing all hardware and data stored.
For the two customers hosted on it, sorry and apologies. We’re working on transferring the data from our offsite backup to another server in the USA.

Looking at the recent news about singapore’s edison chen, a.k.a. gary ng of garyng174 at blogger, i seriously get offended by such people. Looking again at google’s privacy laws, they state that porn should be kept private, i.e. at least after the (more) content tag. what he is doing is simply posting up his sex videos in the main post, thats it. IN WHAT WAY IS THAT PRIVATE? like, wtf. this is just.. taking it over the limit. other searches for his news comes up videos of him with dogs, etc.

Someone stop him.

Google says that blogger is a creator of blogs, not a mediator of content. awsum. *declares anti-blogspot* everyone convert to wordpress. NOW

Just recieved notice from my US partner that i’ve lost the bid for the tender i mentioned in mid january…
feeling kinda depressed now… meh
i can’t believe i got turned down reason being that i cannot be there available during office hours.. due to NS . meh

time to move on. i’m thinking of writing a book sometime… *wanders off to cheer up*
